I’m Vicki Nohrden and I’m running for California Assembly because our legislators are taking us for a ride to the far extremes. From jobs to education, our state government is increasingly out of touch and ineffective. 

Small businesses are struggling to survive and what do legislators do? Work to ban independent contractors and propose astronomical new business and income taxes. Who will pay for their excessive spending? You and me. 

Our students struggle with educational standards and what do legislators do? Prioritize divisive measures instead of equipping our educators. Our children will pay the price. 

Our state had a $90 billion budget surplus last year. Does anyone think that excess will be managed effectively? 

From water to roads, we need infrastructure investment in Monterey County that requires strong advocacy in Sacramento. Without sustainable water sources, we cannot increase jobs or reach our affordable housing goals.

I am a proven leader, in non-profit and business, for over two decades who will represent YOU in the State Assembly. My public service includes standing up for children, families, and victims of crime and working across party lines to make local government more effective.
